How To Grow Herbs Indoors

Growing Herbs Indoors is a great way to grow and enjoy your favourite herbs when outdoor space is limited or non-existent.

You’ll find that many herbs can flourish on a windowsill with some sunlight and regular watering. Stick to easy to grow herbs, such as basil, thyme, mint, marjoram, parsley and cilantro (coriander), and pot them altogether in a window box or separate small pots. Be careful though, as mint tends to take over, so you would be well advised to plant this separately.

Growing Herbs Indoors, although easy, does require a small amount of dedication – you must remember to water your herbs on a regular basis. Leafy herbs like parsley and mint can easily dry out, ruining the plant and spoiling the flavour of the leaves.

Give your herbs plenty of sun, and a regular light watering, and you’ll be picking your favourite herbs from your windowsill in no time at all.
